Immigrant

'Immigrant' is a documentary series that explores the life of the artist's grandmother through the objects in and around her home, which hint at certain aspects of her lifestyle and also her life from Grenada and England, as she immigrated in the 1960's.

In the recent time of post-Brexit, the word 'immigrant' has had negative conntoations associated with it, and so with this series, the artist wanted to highlight that these immigrants are just as much people as the rest of us.
